The Global Organizational Leadership Development Program (GOLD) offers selected high potential candidates the opportunity to experience two to four management assignments over an intensive two-year period in the exciting environment of Operations, Commercial and Finance. The associates will be involved in projects and assignments which are of high impact to current business needs. The associate will learn functional and technical aspects of our business, as well as general leadership skills. The incumbent will normally report to the site or functional manager.
Roles and responsibilities will vary dependent upon functional area assigned
Operations area: Production, Technical, Supply Chain, Quality Control, Maintenance...
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Follow Assignment Managers’ instructions and rotate to different divisions and/or locations in order to gain experience in various functions in the company.
Work independently and complete assignments or tasks on timely manner.
Attend various training assigned by Assignment Managers and fully utilize the knowledge learned on daily operations and projects.
Assist on solving problems that arise in functional areas or sites.
Provide assistance and feedback to Assignment Managers; recommend improvements or changes to the current operations.
Engage cross-functional teams/shop floor people to implement processes & changes; Conduct knowledge transfer to build up organizational capabilities.
Prepare management reports as required.
Operations area: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, logistics/supply chain management, or related discipline;
Highly motivated and creative thinker
Effectively communicates at all levels of the organization
Works effectively in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
Sets and achieves challenging goals for self and projects
Willingness to relocate into different businesses and/or locations
Fluent in English.
